Does anyone know why and how calcium causes constipation?

Is calcium or Caltrate useful for IBS if the predominate symptom is not D?

Danner,

That is a question only you c types can answer. I know a combination of calcium and magnesium could help but it needs to be experimented with by the c types. Good Luck.
