Hi All. Thanks for the feedback yesterday. Hmmmmmmmm, don't give it another thought!. I just think being proactive gives us power when we feel so powerless as a rule.
This is something I have found that helps at that point when the tummy is bubbling and churning and you are looking for the nearest bathroom. Start taking deep breaths and yawning as much as you can.. Breath in through your nose..hold it for a few seconds, let your body absorb that oxygen and then out through your mouth. Someone here is going to rumble and bubble today so try it and tell me if it helps the pain and the urgency to get to the bathroom.. I am not talking completly.. just help.. make it easier.. I am getting better at it and for me i have hardly no accidents due to this technique. Add this to the visualization alot of you use!! Please try and tell me if the results were helpful or not a bit.. P.S. I just got Os-Cal w/ no mag. starting on that today.

It's funny that you wrote about this just today. Around 12:00 noon today my stomach was really rocking and rolling. I decided to close my eyes and visualize my stomach as calm and relaxed. I also threw out some thoughts that my stomach would be alright. I wasn't to sure if it would work but I made it threw the rumling without any running to the bathroom. Interesting I wonfer if this will always work.

wow, I thought I was just nuts. During the D and/or pain phases, yawning always helps me, isn't that weird?

Hi all,

I have also used this technique! It does help, I've had some pretty close calls on business trips on the Interstate. I do deep breathing and sometime count as I breathe, (sometimes pray)think of something to get my mind off my situation, until I reach a bathroom. It's no a cure but worth a try.
Try it sometimes when you are at home (near a bathroom) hold off as long as you think you can and breathe deeply, inhale through your nose and exhale out your mouth.

wow this could be a godsend, i am feeling that way right now, and being at work, really don't want to go rushing off to the loo all the time!!!

I am going to try this now!!!
