For the past 5 years I have been suffering from chronic nausea. it is always present when I get up in the morning. I've had just about every G.I. test you can think of and nothing was found. My last sonogram was 6 weeks ago and nothing showed. For the past 2 months I have been experiencing pain under the right rib cage, sometimes it will radiate to the side and back but mostly is in the front. It is pretty consistent now and only subsides briefly. Also have a lot of indigestion. It appears some foods aggravate it more, but I can honestly say I can't pinpoint it to fatty foods only. I was told they could find no reason for the nausea and I would just have to live with it. I've paid mucho bucks to get this diagnosis I have FINALLY convinced my doctor to order a hida/cck scan which I am having done Friday and am in a panic over. I guess I must be crazy but I am hoping for a diseased gallbladder and the end of the nausea. Any help anybody can give will be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of going through life wanting to barf all the time.

Charlie: Thanks for the information on the hida/cck scan. Everyone out there, keep your fingers crossed that it is this stupid gallbladder that is causing my problems. I can't believe my doctor let me go on being sick for almost 5 years without requesting this test. If it is my gb I think I'll make him wait 5 years before I pay his bill and see how he likes it. hi bonnie
well lets hope that it is your gallbladder ok,if it is, the operation is a piece of cake now that i look back at it, you will have four holes in your tummy, and feel kinda of blah for about three weeks,
there is one thing, make sure you can go pee, pee, after the operation, i was sweating it, they gave me six hours to go or they would stick a you know what in my willy!!
