Some people never seem motivated to participate,
but are content to watch others do...
They are called "Speck Tators."

Some people never do anything to help,
but are gifted at finding fault with
the way others do things...
They're called "Comment Tators."

Some are always looking to cause problems
and really get under your skin...
They are called "Aggie Tators."

There are those who are always saying they will,
but somehow, they never get around to doing...
We call them "Hezzie Tators."

Some people put on a front and
act like someone else...
They're called "Emma Tators."

Then, there are those who walk what they talk.
They're always prepared to
stop what they're doing to lend a hand to others
and bring real sunshine into the lives of others.
You can call them "Sweet Tators."

My Dear Retired-tator, you sound like the last one to me. Very cute Linda, I enjoyed that.

Well thanks for that nice comment Moldie. I like sweet tators. When I first read this I thought about some of the people on this board and which category they might fit in. I've been coming here for a long time now and was getting a little concerned lately because there were a few newbies who seemed to be Comment Tators and Aggie Tators. With IBS already in our lives who needs that kind of negativity. That's why I quit visiting Jeff's board - too many personal and vindictive attacks and agitation. When that kind of thing rears it's ugly head on this wonderful Parkview board, I just keep thinking that maybe if I don't respond it will die a natural death. So I guess that makes me a Speck Tator sometimes.

LindaB,

This is great! I am printing it, and will share it with my middle school students the first week of school. I am always looking for postive messages I can give them. They are at the age where it's not always easy or cool to be positive, and I try to bombard them with as much of the good stuff as possible.
