Hi Jan, I'm sorry, I can't remember everything you have said to me but know you've been helpful and tried to make me feel welcome here on the BB. I think you said you are a very recent transplant to WI, but I'm not sure from where. Also, that you are a nurse. I was an LPN and worked in the same hospital for 20yrs, and then decided to let my license go. Nursing is stressful; and with chronic illnesses like IBS and FMS, I didn't think I could keep up the pace. I also didn't think I wanted to be around sick people anymore, even though I enjoyed taking care of them when I was well. What about you? Are you hanging in there? Hope so.

Hi there! Nice to hear from you! I think there are other Packer Backers on this board, too. We should all get together and commiserate with each other. I would have E-mailed you but didn't have you address. You can E-mail me any time. It's so nice to know that another sufferer is nearby, in the flesh. Isn't this board a godsend?

Have a great day.

Jan

Just thought I would drop in your thread and say HI! I'm from Wisconsin too. I don't do the nursing bit though. I can't stand the site of blood.

Just curious what hospital did you have the ultrasound at?

Glad to see that you are following up on the error!!

My mom had diabetes with neropathy problems, retinopathy problems and had been on dialysis one year. She decided to stop dialysis and the medical examiner wrote the cause of death as heart failure and complications to her previously broken hip. Duh!! what happens when one stops dialysis. For the slight chance of any future medical studies I made them change the death certificate.

Check your E-mail

When my mom died the report said cause was
Altzheimers. She had never been diagnosed with Altzheimers and died of complicatians of a broken hip. Go figure.

Hey guys. I guess you could say I'm a fellow Wisconsinite. I live here, but wish I didn't. To be honest, I HATE it here. I'm a Texan, through and through. I can't stand the cold. We are moving back to Dallas as soon as the house sells. Can't wait!!!!!!!

We're trying to get out, too. Also trying to sell house. But we're moving to Las Vegas to escape the cold. But we'll always be Packer fans. By the way, do you know house selling is VERY stressful? My IBS has been terrible since we started. Can't wait until it's over.

I hear you TMO. Maybe that's why my IBS came back after almost 3 years with no symptoms. What city are you in? I hope are house sells soon, but it's only been on the market one week. Open house this Sunday!

Don't you hate open house? It wrecks your Sunday, wrecks your weekend, and wrecks your gut for three days (at least it does mine.) I hate it when people look at the back of the toilet seats to find the date they were made I actually live in the country, about 15 miles east of Watertown, 15 miles north of Oconomowoc. And you, lanie, make it 4 of us so far that live in Wisconsin.

This is our first open house ever. I'm trying not to stress too much. Our house is only 8 months old, so not alot to do. We live in Madison. I hope it sells soon.

Didn't know there were so many Badgers here! I'm originally from western WI, near the Mississippi, (the most beautiful place on earth, IMHO . I live in Iowa at the moment, but take every opportunity I can to go back, as most of my relatives are still there and I dearly miss the scenery!
Not majorly into football, myself (though most of my relatives are), but am still a die-hard Brewers fan

Hi guys,
Wow, I've been away from the board for a long time and didn't realize there were so many here from WI. I'm originally from the northwestern part of the state, near the MN border, but have been living in Madison the past 8 years. Somehow I no longer feel so alone knowing there are so many of you around Take care all,
carla
