I had colon surgery three years ago and every
since then I had the big (D) evryday with every bowell movement or at least a soft stool. Ive always had IBS but not the Diahrea with it. My Dr. along with Librex prescribed Questran. I take about a half a dose every morning and it really has helped me. I hope this information might help somebody if they cant find any other way to stop the Diahrea and if anybody has any other suggestions for me Im all ears. This doesnt stop the amount of times I have to go in a day, but has made those times tolerable.

Kenneth - welcome to the bb! I see you are a junior member and I don't remember seeing you around before - hope you come back often!

I just got back from my surgeon today (had gallbladder removed a month ago) and he prescribed Questran for me. Glad to read your post and find out a little more about it. Haven't tried it yet - I hope it works - been a tough couple of weeks.

Kathy
