When I step out on our patio in the morning, I think about my IBS friends in northern climes and wish I could send you some of this beautiful sunshine, clear blue skies, and hundreds of birds singing. In the meantime, I "borrowed" these little beauties from one of Torpedobutts posts on the Jeff Roberts board. Hang in there Heykate and others, that snow will melt and spring is on the way:

I keep editing this as I find some more that I like. And I got rid of the spider. It gave me the creeps.

Oh, Linda, I found myself just gazing at your wonderful pictures just now - because that's as close as I'm going to come to spring for another two months!

Thanks for the up-lift - I needed that this morning!

Love, Kathy

PS - except for the spider - we've got plenty of them - they don't seem to care about the cold - wish flowers and butterflys felt the same way!

Glad you enjoyed it Kathy and Pattee. I got rid of the spider and added a jumping fish and blooming tree.

When I sat down at the computer, I was just thinking how there should be a post on spring. Couldn't believe it Linda, you had read my mind.

It is still very cool here. But the plants are all beginning to poke there little bodies out of the ground. A very good sign.

Thanks much. I enjoyed it.

LindaB,
Loved your animations! Could you send me the url of the website?
As you know I am in the southeast (Atlanta) and we are getting our own spring show here. Today is kind of chilly again, but the sun broke through this afternoon and it will be warming up again all week. Friday must have been upper 70's. Too warm, too soon! Summer here can be long and hot. I am seeing lots of birds - chicadees, titmouse etc. and lots of things in bloom. Thanks for the positive thoughts.

Thanks LIndaB for bringing me some spring time. I wish I could take it out side. Its almost 8pm here in Jacksonville, NY(about 1 hour south of Syracuse) and its snowing heavy wet flakes and they say that we could get 8 inches by morning. I think mother nature forgot to look at the calendar in upstate NY. Thanks again.

You are so sweet...I understand..I am in the sunny state and am come from Massachusetts which is cold and snow bound right now. I am a newcomer here and am so happy I found this page. I too wish all the snowbound people spring soon. My aunt-in-law (my hubby's aunt)from Maine said she saw her first Robin...that means spring is on the way...Hang in there....

Thanks, Linda. You always cheer me up. And we IBSers here in Wisconsin can use a lot of cheering up. Everything is brown, except for a few daffodil and hyacinth spikes struggling to hang on. Also saw my first Robin today so maybe there's hope. Anyway, you are a ray of sunshine for us all.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I enjoyed doing them and it took my mind off my "owies" for a little while. I got them from a website www.graphsearch.com which has lots of great pictures. Whenever you see a picture you like, just right-click on the mouse and a little menu pops up. The last item on that menu will be "Properties". Left-click on that one, and the properties for that picture will come up. Then you can see where the picture came from. I just wrote down the URL and then visited the site to see what it had to offer. It was good, so then added it to my Favorites folder (or Bookmark it if using Netscape).

Hi LindaB,
I too enjoyed your beautiful pitures ,thanks for omiting the spider....YUCK!
Mother nature has played a cruel trick on us here,(Ont. Can.). For the past week we have had beautiful spring weather. My dafodills are up about 4 inches & we've been able to wear spring coats some days. The snow is all but gone & everyone is starting to do spring things.
BUT....we awoke this morning to squals, snow plows & sanders!!!! I'ts unbelievable . Some places are expected to get 10 centameters....I could scream!
Oh well, such is life in this beautiful country. The two things you can count on about a Canadian winter are gorgeous scenery & UNPREDICTABILITY!
"happy spring"

Well, all you "snow" people. Wish you could be here in AZ today. Sunny, no wind, brillian blue sky, and projected high of 87! I went to the store this morning and actually turned the ac on in the car. But, you can crow back at me this summer when it's 115 here and you are cool and comfy.

Thanks for the pictures Linda. They are very uplifting to look at. So much better than the cement I have here to look at.
