Hi all,

I know this question has been asked/answered before.. so forgive me. But where in the US can you get or order peppermint capsuels from???? I called every pharmacy in town, even Walgreens and got the "I've never even heard of that!" response.

Please help!! Even somewhere to order them on the web would be OK.
Thanks!
Jill

Try a health food store, that's where I found them. They didn't do much for me, (expect make the bathroom smell better!) but everyone is different, so gave them a try.

Go to Jeffery Roberts BB and search Swanson's
Sombody posted the phone number there. They are called Peppermint Plus by Enzymatic Therapy. 60 Softgels for about 16.00 dollars.
They work ok for me.

Dale, How much is $NZ55 in US money??

I have been trying for months to find these and finally they are becoming available.

Call 1-800-645-1030 Puritan's Pride vitamins
(out of NY)
The oil of Peppermint, Enteric coated softgels are 100for $28.50 but they have a buy one get one free.

In case you want to compare they are
0.2ml. Peppermint,
0.02 Rosemary oilextract,
0.02 Thymes oil extract.
How does that compare with what others have found. ??

Hav a good one.... Joyce in OH

I'm from Canada and mine contain: 187 mg Peppermint Oil in each enteric coated capsule,

Here are some cautions that are on the side of the box.

1) Use after physician diagosis of IBS with out oranic lesions.

2) Do not use if heartburn or active gastric ulcers are present.

3) Do not use if allergic to peppermint, menthol, Peanut Oil or similar essentiial Oils.

apparently it's important to distinguish between enteric coated and not-enteric coated. otherwise it will never get down there and can easily annoy the stomach.
"enteric coated gel-tabs" sounds like an oxymoron but what do i know. http://www.rxmed.com/monographs/colper.html

I'm in Canada too and have just been told by 3 different pharmacies that the Colpermin capsules are no longer being manufactured due to low volume of sales. If they are STILL available in another country, I would like to know about it. Thanks.
