Why is it that when people know that you're not feeling good with your Ibs problems that they continue to hassel you??????? Everytime I go on a trip with my boyfriend and I know I have to start out with positive thoughts, he always picks a fight and that makes things so much worse????
I'm truly so frustrated i could scream..I've talked and talked about it till i'm blue in the face. It's so important for me to stay calm..What do I have to do to get it through!
Thanks for letting me let go of some steam!

I know what you mean!! I think that for me though, I tend to be a little snappy or grouchy and then the people around me get grouchy and snappy too. But I know that it is not all the time, so for the rest of the time I do not know why people decide to "pick" on me when I feel bad. Just our luck I guess. Keep Smilin

This is supposed to be a "friend", right? Maybe it's time to move on, if he's that self centered?

Thanks guys for your messages! I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this situation!
I know it really doesn't help and this is getting harder and harder to deal with!
I will truly consider everything that's been said! Thanks for caring! Makes me feel better to know that! Cher

i have this problem to except it's with my kids more than my husband although he doesn't seem to be very good at helping the problem as soon as the kids here me say my stomach hurts i swear it's the signal to fight or complain then i get started ,but if i walk away or ignore them they get dad involved and he is NOT good at ignoring them AT ALL so here start the vicious circle.i've yet to find a way to avoid this stress i hope you have better luck, now i'm just fighting my body&mind to except this as part of my IBS.

Cher , If this guy really had deep true feelings for You , he would Not jump all over you. I'd give him another chance though , sit him down and spill your feelings out to him , if he gets nasty about it , then it's time to move on. Real friends ( and Lovers ) don't treat each other like that.

Cher , sometimes People Don't know How to act properly when they are around someone that is feeling ill . So inreturn they act like total idiots. Give this guy another chance , you Do need to talk to him and vent your feelings about how uncomfortable You are with the way things are happening in your relationship.
He will either work with you , or against you. If he choses to be a so n' so about it , I'd flat out tell him that the relationship can go No further. if he loves You , he'll stick by you thru thick and thin. Good Luck , I hope all goes in Your favor.

Thanks guys! You have been very supportive!
I'm going to go away for a month. I'm going back home and try to get some perspective on this whole thing. Seems that I feel alot better when I'm there, and I'm going to think about what everyone has said. If this IBS is going to be an on going thing in my life, I need to make some pretty important decisions.I have a 3 1/2 year old to and this definately affects her also. Thanks again!
