I just completed the colonscopy and endoscopy last week. I am finding that my GI tract is more sensitive and hasn't let up any. The doctor has put me back on Librax but that doesn't seem to work as well as it did. Any suggestions?

Bethany,How much info do you have on how the colon works.Any time your body goes through invasive procedures there is going to be somekind of reaction.Every body reaction will be different. We are already Extra sensitive in that area.Tell your Doctor and get something else if the pain persists.Keep up hope and let us know how it goes.

Hi, Bethany! Sorry to hear about your test! Was it OK? I don't know if you've read my stuff, but I won't have it done again because of the reaction I had and how sick I got. It did go away eventually, but I still say it's insulting to make us go through that when we suffer so much already! Let me know how you are doing!

I had my fourth colonoscopy last February. I lost my Mom to colon cancer, that is why I was getting the exams. My IBS began a week to two weeks following the exam! Could there be a conection or is it just coincidence? Any others have similar experience?

After I had my colonoscopy I had increased pain-even if my purse or hand brushed against my abdomen, it would hurt. At the time, I didn't put the two together-I just thought I was getting worse. It was like that for a week or two even.
It was scary.
