I was just thinking while I was at work, why dont we all get together and have a stomach rock concert with all the noises that each of could make with this IBS condition. We could charge a small fee and donate this to a worthy charity. At worst, we could all use the laughs we would get from people that don't understand what we are going thru.

Great idea - I'll supply some percussion and an occasional toot from my flute! karenr
Well, I do have an occasional kettle drum sound too.

Great minds run in the same direction!!!! I was sitting on the you knowwhat today chuckling to myself, thinking "we should have an international IBS convention"!!!!
A great idea, no"
First issue: who will host us?
Second concern: what will we have on the menu?
I nominate Pepto-Bismal as the initial drink, calcium asthe appetizer. Now, go wild----what's next?
And who will the musicians be?

I was thinking more along the lines of using our stomachs as the musical instruments. My stomach is always in tune and making music when I sit in meetings at my company. I surely can do the same when I would be on stage with all my fellow IBS'ers.

But the big question about that international IBS convention is - is there a convention hall in the world with enough bathrooms for all of us? Think about THAT one! Hey, and we wouldn't have to hire a band! Menu? Saltines and water. Wait a minute - we could bring the Immodium and Pepto people in to set up booths! The pharmaceutical companies would think they've died and gone to heaven! This might be doable!!!!

Great idea!! The flushing of toilets alone would make great background music.....
