For a week now, my stomach and intestines are gurgling and growling. I keep thinking of the movie "Alien" and I'm expecting something to come jumping out of me. Does anyone know what might help quiet my noisy belly?

Well Dave if you feel like your going to have an alien then I already have, a full grown one, man I no what ur talkin a bout the growling rumbling and severe bloating so bad I stay nauseous afraid to even try to burp for fear I will surely asphyxiate on something coming back up. I wish I knew what would help, if I werent to scared I would even try a garden hose up the ol bum to relieve the pressure. So far I can snack on some saltines and calm the gurgling down but no help on the bloating.

Hi again, DaveB,
I know what you mean about the growling thing. Embarrassing in company isn't it? Not bad when those around you have a sense of humor, but when it's, like, the boss or in an important meeting - WOW! I've been dealing with it this week, too. Now, we BOTH know that Combid would have stopped it, but since that is only a fond memory for us now, we must find other things. I've tried Phazyme (didn't help), Pepto Bismol (which only constipated me) and believe it or not, stumbled onto Tums EX Orange Cream. Not only is it a very yummy tasting candy, but it actually helped my stomach to calm down. Go figure! Stomachs are sooo weird! Let me know if you find something else that helps.
